The Morgan Library & Museum Rebrand



Cultural branding I Signage

The visual identity redesign aims to reflect the transformation of ‘The Morgan 
Library & Museum’ into an accessible yet intimate institution. 

The identity flows around the monogram unit, inspired by the Renzo Piano structure and makes it flexible to adapt in physical and digital applications.

The project aims to create an identity for Gowanus- a neighborhood in Brooklyn.

The Street

The project is an exploration in spatial design of a book, based on the urban design of streets. Divided into three parts, the book design navigates through guidelines for urban streets, examples of active public spaces around the world and architects’ views on the future of street design.

The central design of the street examples is spatially arranged based on the width of the streets to integrate another layer of information within the layout.

Dock Street Store



Wayfinding graphics l 3D rendering l Interior design

The project is part of Co-Design Studio that partnered with The Dock Street school to design the ‘Dock Street store’ within the premise of the school cafetaria.

The collaborative project worked with the students of the school to develop a participatory design process. In creating the wayfinding graphics and interior planning of the store, the idea was to create an intuitive circulation within the space.

This newspaper design is a typographic expression for the farmers markets in New York city, reflecting on their density and dynamic temporary nature.

The design of the book is based on the idea of ‘The Body Clock’. Each spread of the book is the transition between hours of the day. 

The content informs the time of day and human responses that flow throughout the intuitive rhythm. The layout highlights time, rhythm and fluidity of information.

Step Out

The design for the multi-day hiking planner ‘Step Out’ website is based on user research and insights. The final UI design takes into consideration the challenges faced by beginner level hikers in planning multi day treks .

The website is designed for clarity and ease of going through the overwhelming process of planning.

Hit Parade of Tears



Album cover design

The album cover is designed for The Phantom Orchard. The visuals for the album are inspired by the raw, interpretive and unexpected qualities of the live music performance in the Hit Parade of Tears album by Ikue Mori and Zeena Parker.

The book combines my writing about the systematic analysis and division of the jugaad process into multiple perspectives. 

The documentation in the New York context as well as cultural references in India form a narrative about the relevance of the practice and questions about context in terms of how one looks at surroundings from a jugaadu lens.

The project is about exploring the idea of perceptions in day to day lives by creating a filter of our own patterns in order to explore personal and associative story making.

Inspired by the interactive potential of storytelling using colours, forms and patterns that inform people about place, spaces and memory.
